Pricing is generally driven by the length of time needed to deliver the Final Images. The time typically consists of the following :
- Prep Time (research location(s), Finalize Shoot List, Review/Finalize Edit Style)
- Shoot Day Time (Travel, Outfits, Shoot list). How long is coverage required?
- 90 minutes for a Senior Photo, or 3 hours? (locations and outfits increase time).
- Weddings can be 4 hours, or 12+ hours depending on the shoot list.
- Post Processing Time (Select viable images, produce Selection cut, Edit Selected Images, upload Images). The amount of time here, is at least equal to the Shoot Day Time and many times is longer.
In addition to time, the following costs are included in the pricing:
- Business Insurance
- Equipment Cost ($10,000 – 15,000) depending on requirements.
- Editing Cost (desktop, Storage, Software Subscription(s))
- Web cost (Storage of Images)
- Accounting Software
- Sales Tax
